Kepler
Kepler is a range of acoustic ceiling lights that are composed of large-scale disc-shaped Basotect elements. The overlapping layout, rounded design and extensive colour options give this concept a casual personality, making it ideally suited for use in rooms with an informal or playful character. The same approach is taken when integrating the downlight: not a classic recessed spotlight but a random constellation of seven individual high-output LEDs that together provide a substantial luminous flux.
The luminaires, which are offered in a variant with two, three or four discs, are relatively flat, allowing installation on lower ceilings.
The design contains several references to the mechanics of celestial bodies, the field in which German astrophysicist Johannes Kepler pioneered.
